Emergency Action Plans for High Hazard Structures in Kentucky

Updated 11/07/2008

Numerous dams originally installed with assistance from the NRCS Watershed Program are currently classified by the Kentucky Division of Water as High Hazard structures.  In 2006, NRCS will be contacting all Sponsors of all High Hazard structures of the need to update and/or develop current emergency action plans.  To assist Sponsors in the writing an action plan, the NRCS-Kentucky State Office has developed an easily edited Microsoft Word file that sponsors can use as a guideline in developing their emergency plan.  See more information about  Emergency Action Plan.
