Farm and Ranch Lands Protection Program (FRPP)

FRPP issues for which NRCS is requesting your input:

1. Review the eight (8) nationally required ranking factors and assign weights (fill in the “maximum points” column) for each one so they add up to 1,000 (points may be changed in the fianl ranking sheet, but 1,000 is a good round number to work with during development.)
2. Suggest State ranking factors – as few or as many as you want!  Assign points to them just as you did the national factors.  You can also suggest scaling points if you wish. The State maximum points should also add up to 1,000 points for this exercise.
3. Recommend the National to State ratio of ranking percentages.  The national factors must be at least 50%.
