EQIP Ranking Criteria Items

X.   Waste Storage Facility (313)

  • Storage Facilities for Poultry Litter are not eligible for EQIP cost-share.

  • Livestock must be present during the evaluation period.

  • New and expanded operations are eligible.

  • A Comprehensive Nutrient Management Plan (CNMP) is required for construction of all animal waste structures.

  • Assign points and apply costs to the waste storage facility practice for all companion practices and components, including Nutrient Management only if not listed as a separate ranking item. See Appendix A for additional guidance in determining the primary practice.
