Obtaining eAuth Accounts for Non-Government (Partner) and Contractors working with NRCS (Affiliates)
All non-federal government support personnel should do the following:
- Go
to the USDA eAuthentication
website at
www.eAuth.egov.usda.gov and click on “Create an account” to apply for a
Level 2 eAuthentication Account.

Complete and submit the online profile for Level 2 Access (Create User ID
and Password).
- A
confirmation email will be sent back to the email address provided in the
account profile in previous step.
IMPORTANT: YOU MUST CLICK ON THE ACTIVATION LINK PROVIDED IN THE EMAIL,
WITHIN 7 DAYS.

After receipt of confirmation email and activating the link in the email,
the new user must have a Local Registration Authority (every DC is an LRA)
complete the identity proofing and activation of their level 2 account.
